Within My Heart Sewing Case- Cross Stitch Pattern by Ellen Chester

This envelope-style sewing case provides a lovely way to store your needlework tools.  Rings on the inside hold your threads, and there is also a large pocket for tools and treasures.  Designs for a needle-book and scissors weight are also included.

The model was stitched on 32-count Summer Khaki linen from Zweigart, Inc. using DMC embroidery thread and silk threads from Dinkey-Dyes, Gloriana Threads, and Needlepoint Inc.

Stitches used: algerian eye (over four linen threads), backstitch, closed herringbone, cross, cross stitch over one linen thread, smyrna cross, tent, and vertically elongated cross stitches.  If desired, you can substitute cross stitch for many of the specialty stitches.
