TIP: The Ultimate Travel Bag is the perfect size to carry a small machine such as a Pfaff Passport, Janome Gem, or Featherweight to classes. If you intend to carry something heavy such as a sewing machine in your bag, we suggest that you use one of our plexiglass bottom stabilizers (rather than foam core) in the base. 

Ultimate Travel Bag 2.0 is an update of Ultimate Travel Bag which was released in 2016. Just like a new edition of a textbook, this new version of the pattern features improved design and layout, easier-to-follow steps and diagrams, and our newest and best techniques. Specific changes include:

• Replace back strap with trolley sleeve to provide a more secure hold on rolling luggage.
• Created more spacious side pockets, making them easier to use and better for water bottles (and more!).
• Included instructions for making interior pockets of either mesh or fabric.
