Similar to lines in the 17th century, not an "evenweave" but it is evenly woven. Recommended by Margaret Light as an alternative to Jacobean Linen Twill which is currently sold out and we have a worldwide shortage. If the stitching is dense you'll need to back the fabric with a quilter's muslin for extra strength.
