Olde Willow Stitchery introduces Introducing "Willow Samplings"

A new series - a quick and fast sampler design while not delving into a larger project

Sarah Webb, was only 8 in 1836 when she wrought her sampler.  This sampler is also part of the "Willow Samplings" series.  The sampler was finished with Lady Dot Creates velvet.  The design is cross stitch over 2 and has a tiny bit of satin stitching.  

Stitch count:  145 (w) x 211 (h)

The model was stitched on 40 ct. XJudesigns "Old Sheep" with Gentle Arts threads and Weeks Dye Works floss.  DMC equivalents provided.

The beautiful verse says:

          Allow for human weakness.  Let angry passions cease and live in 

          love and meekness in charity and peace
