Mary's Drum - Cross Stitch Pattern by Whilst Iris Naps
Mary's Drum is a pin drum pattern using key elements of our Mary Gypson 1828 sampler. The design for this drum measures 253 x 75 stitches and includes a small amount of satin stitch, 3 Algerian eyelets, some back stitch and stitches over 3 threads. Instructions for all speciality stitches are provided, including examples shown on Aida. The majority of the pattern is cross stitch over 2 linen threads and there is no over 1.
The model was stitched on 40ct 'Dirty Teacup' from Needle & Flax Linens. On 40ct fabric the design measures approximately 12 5/8 x 3 3/4 inches (32 x 9.5 cm).
