Stitch along is very casual and you can start whenever you're ready! World Donkey Day is May 8th so it might be nice to aim to finish on May 8th - whichever year you can.
There is a smaller version of the bigger sampler included in the booklet
"Mary's sampler has been recreated as best as it could, keeping in mind the deteriorated state of the antique, as well as her sometimes erratic stitches. We enjoy the menagerie at the bottom of her sampler, and like to think the plant at right is a large tomato plant - as it differs significantly from the large flowers elsewhere in Mary's sampler. Sadly without a town name, we were unable to locate our Mary with any degree of certainty."
