Kate Adkins - Reproduction Sampler by Heartstring Samplery

This sweet little antique sampler was given to me by a Sister-in-Law who knows me very well. With just the right amount of age-darkened fabric and four shades of red thread, I knew immediately that I would share her with you! Kate Adkin was very likely from England.  She didn’t share her age or a year with us, but both her name and the inclusion of crowns on her sampler are strong hints as to her country of birth.
