This small sampler is stitched entirely with cross stitch over two threads of linen and is suitable for working on Aida or linen.

Florence’s delightful monochrome sampler was stitched with Soie 100.3 from Au Ver à Soie. We have provided conversions for Soie d’Alger and DMC below.
If stitching with 2 strands of Soie d’Alger, you will require 3 skeins, and with 2 strands of DMC, you will require 2 skeins.

Linen Sizes
The design area is 138 stitches (w) x 131 stitches (h). Our calculations have included a 3″ margin for finishing and framing. The model was stitched using a Zweigart-based linen that was overdyed to the shade ‘Crème Brûlée’ from Tabbycat Linen. The sampler can be worked on Aida or linen.
