Elizabeth’s Winter Basket - Cross Stitch Pattern by From the Heart Needleart

This is the first in a seasonal series adapted from an antique sampler in my
collection. They will all be on different fabrics, but as always there are so many different linens you could use

Pinkeep: 45 x 61

The models are stitched on 40 count Fox and Rabbit Flannel Flower linen with 1 ply of the Weeks Dye Works hand dyed

This piece is adapted from an antique sampler stitched by Elizabeth Barton when she was ten years old. I have chosen some of the motifs in her sampler to design these seasonal pieces. They each highlight the large basket in the middle of her sampler and the beautiful border. Each piece has a palette of lovely seasonal colors. Each season will have a coordinat-ing pinkeep that features one of the motifs from this sampler. Look for the rest of the seasons to be released in 2023 and 2024.
