City of the Dead - Cross Stitch Pattern by Dirty Annies
Where I grew up in South Louisiana, we keep our bodies above ground. Why? It's below sea level and the bodies would float right up! If you haven't done a New Orleans Cemetery tour yet I would highly recommend it! Each of these tombs is based on an actual tomb in New Orleans. Marie Laveau's is in the top left hand corner. Stitch them each separately for Halloween ornaments or stitch them together as shown. This is a big one!
