A take on Christmas in warmer weather, featuring the Christmas Bell (a flower that blooms where I live at Christmas). With hot Summer days, designs featuring snowmen and reindeer have never quite felt right to me. Instead, I'm offering eucalypt blossoms instead of snowflakes in this original design...
A previous (and quite different) version of this design appeared in Down the Rabbit Hole magazine last year. The design uses full crosses over 2 and Algerian Eyelets around a central cross-stitch.
Model stitched 1 over 2 on 36-count 'Spice' by Number12Stitco on Etsy (a warm, pale gold), using Weeks Dye Works 'Havana', 'Moss', 'Garnet', 'Sweet Potato', 'Whiskey', & Classic Colorworks 'Khaki Mocha'. Full DMC conversion provided.
2-page, clear, black-and-white chart with a colour cover.
