Bristol Berries I - Cross Stitch Pattern by Erica Michaels

These berries capture the essence of the beloved Bristol orphanage samplers and pay homage to those children and the Bristol orphanages. This first in the series includes the ever-present Bristol squirrel and pieces which highlight the orphanages themselves. Throughout the series of three (the remaining to release later this year), I will use the traditional red color palette, but my fabric/thread choices are not “set in stone”, giving you more options

Stitch count and linens for designs included are:

• Full Squirrel on 45 count Jersey Cream linen from Legacy Linen - 205 x 121, and stitched with Soie 100/3 silks
  
• Partial Squirrel on 36 count Sand hand dyed linen from Picture This Plus - 127 x 72 and stitched with hand dyed cotton floss from Weeks Dye Works
  
• Orphanage Smalls stitched on 36 count Tycho hand dyed linen from Picture This Plus ~ Berry 106 x 86 and Mini Sampler 92 x 108 and stitched with silks from Soie Gobelins.
  

Designs are finished with hand dyed wools from Weeks Dye Works and Rayon Ribbons from Lady Dot Creates.
