Alice’s sampler was reproduced using a very pretty palette of nine colours from Au Ver à Soie’s range of Soie 100.3

We have provided conversions for Soie d’Alger and DMC. Only one spool or skein of each colour is needed to stitch the sampler.

 Linen Sizes

The model was stitched using a Zweigart-based linen that was overdyed to the shade of Just the Ticket by Tabbycat Linen. The sampler is suitable for stitching on Aida and linen.

 The design area is 138 stitches (w) x 104 stitches (h). Our calculations include a 3" margin for finishing and framing.

28ct linen: Design: 9.86" x 7.43" Fabric: 15.86" x 13.43"

32ct linen: Design: 8.63" x 6.50" Fabric: 14.63" x 12.50"

36ct linen: Design: 7.67" x 5.78" Fabric: 13.67" x 11.78"

40ct linen: Design: 6.90" x 5.20" Fabric: 12.90" x 11.20"

46ct linen: Design: 6.00" x 4.52" Fabric: 12.00" x 10.52"

56ct linen: Design: 4.93" x 3.71" Fabric: 10.93" x 9.71"
