Ivlie Godefroid book from Atelier Soed Idee

"This sampler "Ivlie Godefroid" caught my eye because of the beautiful colours. Upon closer inspection, the sampler turned out to be full of nice motifs. A landscape with a church, butterfly, shepherdess with all her creatures and the more traditional motifs such as the reclining deer in the garden, a ship, cradle, etc.

I charted the sampler and used a number of motifs to make a pin drum, pin cushions and needle book. These are all in this beautifully designed book."

All projects were stitched on 40 count Flax Newcastle linen from Zweigart and stitched with silks from Soie d'Alger. DMC Conversion is included in the book.
