Many years ago Edith Minne, the founder & owner of Renaissance Ribbons began a love affair with French Ribbons... Jacquard, Brocade, Damask, Satin, Velvet, Taffeta, ... those gorgeous French Ribbons, even the names have a poetry, evocative of a way of life, of chateaux, tapestries, gardens, old roses... 

She founded Renaissance Ribbons to meet an appreciative and growing demand for the quality and beauty of traditional woven ribbons. We grew year by year, one spool of beautiful ribbon after another, combining the Old World tradition of ribbon weaving and quality with the creativity and affordable fashion-forward design required today.    
 
More than 27 years later the company has grown into a company that designs, creates and supplies ribbons to thousands of wholesale customers worldwide. From their base in the lovely rolling foothills of Northern California they invite you, ribbon lovers and customers, to share in their passion.
