The model for this sampler was stitched on 32-count Black linen from Zweigart, Inc. and uses overdyed threads from Gloriana and The Thread Gatherer. DMC substitutions are provided for the overdyed silk threads

Stitches used: cross stitch, backstitch, closed herringbone, colonial knot, cross stitch over one linen thread, half cross stitch, smyrna cross, tent, and vertical closed herringbone stitch. If desired, cross stitch can be substituted for many of these stitches.
