Mary Potter's tone-on-tone sampler was stitched over 2 threads on a linen ground that has 32-24 threads per inch. 

The model was stitched on 46 ct Weeks Dye Works Mocha linen with 100/3 silk thread.   

The sampler contains only fully cross-stitches and is suitable for a beginner.
