This is a book full of practical advice and guidelines and is also an inspiration for you to ‘wander down your own path’ of creativity. Eight basic embroidery stitches, worked individually or combined is the concept for this book. Embroidery wool threads from your ‘work basket’ or selected from your favourite embroidery shop can be used for the projects you create. Aimed at the beginner through to the expert many embroiderer’s have worked their pathways with wool, cotton and silk threads and added beads to bring a ‘sparkle’ to their finished project.  ‘The Pathway’ shown on the front cover of the book has been broken down into easy to follow coloured step by step sections.

Inspiration: This form of creative original work has been described as ‘doodling with thread’ Merrilyn, as always, is happy to share with you her love of embroidery and the way our surrounding nature gives us so many ideas to interpret with needle and thread.

Projects and ideas: Add a special touch to a pair of woollen gloves or a ‘green bag’ giving you a new concept of how to use your embroidery this is evident with the Baby’s blanket, which has embroidery at top of the blanket,….. easy to hold and work!!! Included in all books is a guide for needles, fabric, ribbons and threads, stitch glossary, detailed step by step instructions for you to create your own flowers.
