Lilly’s delightful sampler has been reproduced with a palette of 5 colours from Au Ver à Soie’s range of Soie 100.3. We have provided conversions for Soie d’Alger, Fine d’Aubusson Wool, and DMC. Only one skein or spool is required for each colour. There are only a handful of stitches in the yellow beige and grey green.

The project can be stitched either on Aida, Linaida, or linen.

The original sampler was stitched on 24ct linen with wool. The model was stitched on Marbled Khaki in 56ct Zweigart linen overdyed by XJuDesigns.

The design area is 96 stitches (w) x 118 stitches (h). Our calculations have included a 3″ margin for finishing and framing.

28ct: Design: 6.86″ x 8.43″ Fabric: 12.86″ x 14.43″

30ct: Design: 6.40″ x 7.87″ Fabric: 12.40″ x 13.87″

32ct: Design: 6.00″ x 7.38″ Fabric: 12.00″ x 13.38″

36ct: Design: 5.33″ x 6.56″ Fabric: 11.33″ x 12.56″

40ct: Design: 4.80″ x 5.90” Fabric: 10.80″ x 11.9″

46ct: Design: 4.17″ x 5.13″ Fabric: 10.17″ x 11.13″

56ct: Design: 3.43″ x 4.21″ Fabric: 9.43″ x 10.21″

52/62ct: Design: 3.69″ x 3.81″ Fabric: 9.69″ x 9.81″

62/52ct: Design: 3.10″ x 4.54″ Fabric: 9.10″ x 10.54″
